Prior to co-founding SoftwareRevRec, Brad and Josh were co-workers in PwC's Assurance practice, within the Technology and Financial Services industry group. Brad and Josh worked on some of the largest software and technology services companies in the Atlanta area, including (but not limited to) Infor, Teradata, Agilysys, and Internap. They have led fieldwork on a variety of multi-location, US GAAP and GAAS client engagements, and have advised clients on various technology-specific complex accounting issues.
In addition to its two co-founders, SoftwareRevRec partners with Tim Shelly and Sam Kerlin of The Argon Advisors to combine knowledge with additional subject matter experts.
Sam Kerlin was a partner in KPMG's Assurance practice, where he served on rotation as an audit partner at KPMG's national Department of Professional Practice (DPP). Sam also co-authored several articles of KPMG thought leadership and has recently helped draft KPMG’s forthcoming publication on the new revenue standard. Sam is a
frequent instructor/speaker for clients and has led internal KPMG trainings.
Tim Shelley has 10 years experience at KPMG and Arthur Anderson's audit and private equity practicies, and is a former partner-in-charge of the Technology and Life Sciences Practice of a large regional firm. He has servied eight of the "top ten" technology companies as ranked by the Atlanta Business Chronicle during his time in Atlanta.
